IPKeys Releases PMO Version 2.0 – Solves Multi-Contract Task Order Management for Federal Contractors

Eatontown, New Jersey, September 8, 2009. IPKeys Technologies announced today it has released Version 2.0 of Project Management Office (“PMO”) designed to streamline the management of IDIQ contracts and task orders by Federal & DOD contractors. Version 2,0 has been uniquely designed for Federal Contractors that operate multiple prime IDIQ type contracts.

“In order to deliver PMO to multiple entities and contracts in a scalable and efficient manner, our Version 2.0 PMO provides an interface and utility that is based on a Flexible & Smart Authentication”, said Robert Nawy, Managing Director & CFO, IPKeys. “This new PMO development empowers contractors to identify a Super User or group of Super Users to create their own contracts with unique branding, logos, content and color designs for various entities and contracts without having to engage a developer or IPKeys” Nawy added.

The new features of PMO Version 2.0 are described below.

SSO (single-sign-on) Smart Authentication Module - Provides a single entry to manage multiple contracts. As a result, users do not need to memorize multiple site URLs, and different username and password credentials. With single entry and single credentials, it will not only simplify the authentication process but also make system maintenance simpler and streamlined. The SSO smart authentication module will recognize each user’s profile and roles in different contracts and assign the permissions accordingly. Therefore, not only the authentications are simplified but also secured.

Super User Permission & Capability Structure - Provides a system default role named “Super User”. This system role will not change or remove the existing role management module for administrators. The Super User role will provide a new range of permissions to a user. Thus, such user can create a new contract (within the license limit), its own unique branding, logo, color scheme, and login landing page statements.

Distinct per Contract Basis Management Architecture - Provides the flexibility to handle different contracts. Thus, a user who has different roles in different contracts will have a distinct view per contract switch. An example of this is that a user may be a Program Manager on one contract, a subcontractor on another contract, and administrator on other contacts, with unique permission PMO rights depending on their role in a specific contract or entity.

Auto-Contract Switch User Interface - Provides a drop-down menu for users who have multiple contacts for easy switching. Within the same environment, users can toggle between different contracts with ease. The PMO System will also allow users to set their most frequent used contract as their default. Upon login, the default will be displayed automatically.

Contract Super Search- Once users switch to a particular contract in the upgrade option system, they are in a distinct environment which presents the data only for that contract. There are no collations between contracts. However, PMO will provide a contract super search for users who manage multiple contracts. Thus, the search will be more global and users can find whichever they seek even though the information is resided in other contracts.

Customized Branding EngineProvide a branding engine. Thus, a Super User can use a simple web interface to create unique brandings for each contract or company, upload/change logo, update color scheme, and change login landing page statements without any programming efforts.

Custom Financial Report Link - In order to facilitate the various contracts of that may have unique financial reporting criteria, the upgrade option will provide the option of utilizing a Custom Financial Report Link. This link will empower contractors to create unique financial reports that are then linked to the Monthly Status Report (“MSR”) feature of PMO.

IPKeys Selects Emergent's Gamebryo Lightspeed for the Counter-IED Simulation development

EATONTOWN, N.J. & CALABASAS, Calif. -- April 6, 2009 -- IPKeys has selected Emergent’s Gamebryo LightSpeed development system to create counter-IED simulations for U.S. Forces. LightSpeed will be used in IPKeys’ critical tasking with the Federal Government, specifically with the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization’s Technical Gaming Team (JIEDDO TGT).

Improvised explosive devices (IEDs) are one of the primary threats to U.S. service members serving overseas. The Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) was created to aggressively and rapidly find, develop, test and deliver counter-IED (C-IED) capabilities for our armed forces.

“At the tactical level, insurgents have proven skilled at quickly adapting to the U.S. forces counter-IED procedures by altering their IED designs and deployment methods. IPKeys did an extensive evaluation to ensure any technology we use provides the capability to rapidly incorporate the very latest tactics, techniques and procedures,” said Daniel Hettrick, Director, Modeling and Simulation Solutions, IPKeys.

IPKeys is a premier licensee of Emergent and plans to integrate LightSpeed into its IED Gaming and Modeling Environment (I-GAME) as part of its ongoing work with the United States Department of Defense (DOD). Gamebryo LightSpeed will allow IPKeys Modeling and Simulation Team to further develop I-GAME, an “on-the-fly” 3D authoring capability that allows the Warfighter to simulate virtual battlefield conditions that closely approximate the current operating environment.

“LightSpeed’s rapid development iteration capabilities will allow IPKeys to quickly adapt I-GAME’s simulations to meet the changing battlefield,” said Mark Pappas, President, IPKeys. “More than that, it gives us core technology around which we can build our company and a whole new generation of simulation development. LightSpeed gives IPKeys the ability to create prototypes in just a few weeks and will dramatically increase the number of projects we can address.”

Gamebryo LightSpeed is being used as the core technology to create simulations for the military, government, corporate and aerospace sectors. The revolutionary rapid prototyping, rapid iteration and real-time update capabilities of LightSpeed give developers the agility to quickly react to the evolving needs of today’s military.

“IPKeys’ choice of LightSpeed is strong validation of our place in the simulation market. LightSpeed is the technology of choice for those interested in rapid deployment of simulation environments,” said Scott Johnson, President… “The Department of Defense’s evaluation and bidding process is very extensive and thorough. To have a company of IPKeys’ caliber base their software offering on our technology demonstrates the confidence the market has shown LightSpeed.”
