I-GAME

IPKeys has developed a powerful rapid 3D authoring technology for Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) of the United States Department of Defense (DoD).

IPKeys has collaborated with the JIEDDO Technical Gaming Team (TGT) and academic partners including the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI), Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab (JHU/APL), the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) as well as other private sector technology providers to create I-GAME - a technology which allows subject matter experts (SME) to rapidly and easily author real-time, interactive 3D scenarios.

I-GAME scenarios focus on the physical accuracy of IED and counter-systems to deliver critical decision making capability to the JIEDDO TGT in support of the IED defeat mission. These scenarios can be easily saved and reloaded to rapidly iterate through "what-if" scenarios.

Key features of I-GAME's enabling technology:

  • Rapid authoring interactive 3D scenarios – no programming required
  • Physics-based simulation environment
  • Open environment allowing scenarios with virtually no restrictions
  • Streamlined, intuitive interface
  • JIEDDO Subject Matter Experts can rapidly game IED/C-IED systems in a variety of different environments
  • SMEs can modify system properties on-the-fly via intuitive interface to quickly iterate "what if" conditions
  • Convenient save/load feature allows easy sharing of lightweight scenario files for analysis, training, and presentation
  • Open-ended authoring structure offers SMEs the freedom to safely experiment within relatively straightforward or complex multi-tiered scenarios

IPKeys is proud to be a member of the TGT Forum. We look forward to continuing to expand JIEDDO's M&S capability through I-GAME and other initiatives designed to serve the Warfighter.
