Senior GCCS-J Software Release Manager

Job Description:

IPKeys Technologies is seeking highly qualified candidates to support the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) mission of providing Global Command and Control System-Joint (GCCS-J) Deployment and Sustainment Technical Support.  Activities included in this overall support contract range from test strategy and configuration management, product quality assurance, operational and technical transition planning, Tier-3 help desk operations, fielding, exercise and contingency support.

Candidates for this position will be subject to a government background investigation and must have an active Secret clearance to access classified information.  US Citizenship required.

A successful Senior GCCS-J Software Release Manager candidate will perform the following job functions:

  • Be well experienced in a broad range of GCCS-J technical and functional expertise including Joint Operations Planning and Execution (JOPES), Status of Resources and Training System (SORTS), Joint Mission Applications, Common Operational Picture, and Integrated Imagery & Intelligence, Sun Solaris, Windows XP, Oracle, and Weblogic.
  • Support the GCCS-J Test Director and Test and Evaluation government/contractor system administrators to build systems in the test lab to include coordinating availability and setup of the test suite.
  • Conduct Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) activities on all built systems to ensure that each build conforms to its associated release baseline. 
  • Coordinate availability of already fielded SORTS-built test suites for compatibility and transition testing.
  • Provide oversight and verification that all Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) solutions are applied.
  • Validate compliance of security requirements are applied and interfaces/firewalls conform to the system architecture. 
  • Provide impact assessments and identify and propose resolution of schedule/resource conflicts as appropriate.
  • Provide overall release planning and schedule management for software builds for the various GLOBAL, SORTS, and JOPES releases for the System Integration Tests (SIT) and System Acceptance Tests (SAT). 
  • Collaborate with the Test Manager with the management and coordination of end-to-end integration, testing, and fielding of GCCS-J releases.

Qualifications

  • Education:  Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Experience: Ten years of related experience
  • Education Substitution:  2 years related experience substitutes for Associates degree; 4 years related experience substitutes for Bachelors degree.
