GCCS-J Software Release Engineer

Job Description:

IPKeys Technologies is seeking highly qualified candidates to support the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) mission of providing Global Command and Control System-Joint (GCCS-J) Deployment and Sustainment Technical Support.  Activities included in this overall support contract range from test strategy and configuration management, product quality assurance, operational and technical transition planning, Tier-3 help desk operations, fielding, exercise and contingency support.

Candidates for this position will be subject to a government background investigation and must have an active Secret clearance to access classified information.  US Citizenship required.

A successful GCCS-J Software Release Engineer candidate will perform the following job functions:

• Support the GCCS-J Management Team building systems and setup the test suite in the test lab.
• Support the Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) activities on all built systems to ensure that each build conforms to its associated release baseline. Support already fielded SORTS-built test suites for compatibility and transition testing.
• Support application of the Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) solutions.
• Support application of security requirements and interfaces/firewalls to conform to the system architecture. 
• Support impact assessments and resolution of schedule/resource conflicts as appropriate.
• Support the release planning and schedule management for software builds for the various GLOBAL, SORTS, and JOPES releases for the System Integration Tests (SIT) and System Acceptance Tests (SAT). 
• Support end-to-end integration, testing, and fielding of GCCS-J releases.
• Support the Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) activities on all built systems to ensure that each build conforms to its associated release baseline.
