Systems Engineer

Job Description:

IPKEYS is hiring for the position of systems engineer to provide technical services and support to the technical director and team.

Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

• 10+ years of professional experience in systems engineering
• DoD or Military experience in fielding of Military systems
  
• Solid understanding of web services, service oriented architectures, cloud computing, commercial standards and best practices VMWare
  
• Current secret or higher security clearance
  
• Ability to set up and configure systems on Windows and Solaris and set up server configurations
  
• Mobile technologies, configuration management and governance processes, agile or iterative software development
  

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• On-site services at Aberdeen Proving Ground with travel to Ft. Monmouth and various locations in support of products and systems within SBC.
• System installation and set up of products and systems
  
• Provide command leaders and users training on system in operational settings as well as be able to provide an architecture overview of systems

The system engineer will perform the following tasks:

• Lead and assist in various technical discussions, efforts and forums and accountable for team collaboration and sharing knowledge
  
• Install and/or oversee the installation of the systems in labs, deployment and field exercises
  
• Communicate effectively, written and orally, with key leaders, management and users of the systems with the ability to provide oral briefings on the systems

Reporting: The system engineer will directly report to the Technical Director.

• Upon hire, candidate will be required to obtain a Security Clearance.
