Senior Homeland Security Analyst

Job Description :
Independently or as project leader, staff member will lead or conduct research on and analysis of Federal regulations, plans, and guidance related to critical infrastructure protection, national homeland security, emergency preparedness, or continuity of operations planning. Conduct research on and analysis regulations, plans, and guidance related to US military assistance to the DHS. Serve on or lead project teams to develop strategies and plans for DoD and other Federal government clients to respond to threats, intentional acts, or accidents involving CBRNE materials, as well as catastrophic natural phenomena or accidents. Review and/or develop the consequence management annexes to Combatant Commander Operations plans (OPLANS).

Education :
Bachelors degree and minimum of 5 years work experience in an emergency management, homeland security or as a Senior systems engineer/analyst position within DoD, DOE, or in state, county, or municipal government.

Required Skills:
Should have a working knowledge of current homeland security issues as well asa working knowledge of the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and the National Response Plan (NRP) Should have knowledge of US policy regarding consequence management assistance to foreign governments. Also

A thorough understanding of the respective roles, responsibilities, and interface of federal, state, and local government in responding to terrorist and major accident or disaster events
