EISS® Box Set Up and Configuration

The EISS® Box Virtual End Node (VEN) is the OpenADR 2.0b-certified hardware client to the EISS® VTN Server. EISS® Box VEN allows the VTN Server to interface with existing building equipment so that it can automatically react to Demand Response (DR) and price events. Presented below is the step-by-step procedure to set up an EISS® Box including locating it on a network and configuring its settings.

EISS® Box Configuration using EISS® Point

Step 4 of 4  |   Video: 15:50

The EISS® Point Portal is the cloud-based user interface to an EISS® Box. Through the Portal, an EISS® Box (and certain other IPKeys VEN devices) can be connected to the EISS® Point Configuration Server allowing for remote configuration and firmware updates thereby eliminating the requirement to physically connect the device to manage its settings. When you are issued your EISS® Point Account credentials (in step 1 above), you will receive a link to the EISS® Point Portal where you can log in and configure your EISS® Box. (Note that, on your first log in, you will be asked to accept a standard end user license agreement for IPKeys VENs.)
